<p>It should be very transparent how our HOA fees are spent and our common grounds in Audie Murphy Ranch should be evidence! I started this petition because since I moved to this master planned community, I feel very let down by our builder, Brookfield, who controls the voting rights within our association. It seems like since I moved here, it has been like pulling teeth to get any improvements made. It is frustrating to know that even though we have two resident board members in the association, our voices really do not mean anything as Brookfield members hold the majority vote! We are just puppets until 90% of AMR is built out.</p><p>We are getting scrutinized regularly for an oil stain on our driveway, or a trailer left one day longer than the rules permit. We understand that we bought into an association and we quickly rectify our mistakes for fear of a monetary punishment, but how is our association being accountable to us? If you look around AMR you consistently see dead trees, dead vegetation, broken sprinklers and weeds! Where is the pride? AMR is supposed to be the "gem" of the city of Menifee, but I am actually embarrassed of how my community looks. I find it strange that when Brookfield is selling homes they concentrate on making the new area gorgeous while they older areas are forgotten. Evidence of this is at our grand entrance at Derby Hill. Compare the entrance of the gated community, Province, to Derby Hill. No beautiful roses, no pretty purple flowers....just burned out, ugly ice plant on one side, and desolate vegetation on the other. The landscape on Derby Hill has had huge dead spots for the past 3 years and why they ripped out the trees on Stage Coach in front of the future elementary school, and just left big holes and an unsightly mess, I will never understand. </p><p>We need to take control, rise in numbers and exercise our right to demand that Brookfield do the right thing! They need to hear us out and execute a plan that includes, but is not limited to:</p><p>*investigate current landscaper who doesn't pull weeds, fix sprinklers</p><p>*pull out dead trees/plants and replace</p><p>*Fix broken fences</p><p>*clean graffiti</p><p>*redesign entrances into AMR we can be proud of</p><p>*be a liaison for us to push another petition (on its way) to the city of Menifee to address concerns about the Sports Park, desperately needed stop signs within our community, and painting the entrance at Derby Hill red for safety reasons.</p><p> </p><p>Please sign this petition TODAY and take the initiative to tell all of your neighbors who are not on AMR talk. We have power in numbers. Lets make this a community to be proud of!</p><p>Please, please, PLEASE attend the September 14 association meeting at 6p.m. located at 29995 Evans Rd. The homeowner forum will be held at the end of the general session.</p><p>I will post pictures of unacceptable areas around our community on Audie Murphy Ranch Talk. I am going to print them out and clearly label the problem and location of the issue and hand it to the board on Wednesday night. I strongly urge you to do the same as I only took pictures of the Derby Hill entrance, Derby Hill, parts of Stage Coach, and the entrance across from Derby Hill, known as "Silvercreek."</p><p> </p><p>WE CAN DO THIS!!</p>
