<p>Each of us are <em>Sui Generis, to often beauty unnoticed. invisible </em></p><p>To many American Citizens, my fellow Veteran brother's and sister's in arms are lost in thought , homeless, shunned, basically forgotten in plain sight. The current transitions process from military life to civilian society lacks what I believe is very essential to the mental well-being as well as a motivational element which will ensure every service member has the funds to be independent after military service. More educational instructions, guidance as well as a financial courses to transition each member from Military Barracks living (no bills, or rent) to a rIndependent functioning member of society. I ask for your support with this petition for Congress to Institute a Mandatory savings program for all Military Service Member's serving their initial contract, as well as additional educational instructions/mentoring/ guidance starting a year from End of Service with refresher classes to prepare the service member for day to day, month to month situations one may and will encounter while living as a n independent functioning member of our society I.e bills, rent, insurance (Med, Car, Home) and other stress cause elements which may cause stress. We as American Citizens, as tax payers, as Veterans, owe this to the next generation of brave persons who enlist to serve in our Military, standing hand across their heart, reciting the Oath (twice) to defend the constitution against all who seek tarnish her promise of Liberty, Freedom and Justice to all..the persons who one day may pay that ultimate sacrifice to preserve the way of life promised to us by the forefathers when this great Nation was founded. No more shall we see the young brave warriors struggle to conform to society. Our future generations need us to act now. All who signed that dotted line are molded to protect our way of life and we must, as best we can set our future service members up for success and do better than the previous generation. So many have chosen to sign a blank check and when they are done serving their beloved nation who attempt a fresh start with none but their final check due to improper planning or just plain arrogance. None the less I am asking for your support, to lend me your voice, if just for a day and let our voice ring in the ears of those we appointed Into office, may our echo reach every chamber on Capitol. We the 99%, the individual's, individual masses joining together, 50 states speaking as 1 Nation requesting no demanding a security net for those defending our Nations best interest. Creating a mandatory saving program (saving allotment should be transferred before netpay taxes are paid and should be tax free when collected) as well additional Transitions courses to assist and empower our future defenders with the necessary tools, support system, and funds, needed for a smooth, stress free transition to society. Please stand with, NO stand by me and let your voice be heard for the future of this great Nation. For I strongly believe we must make this choice for all who will proudly served and protect the freedom and liberties of this one of a kind Nation we call home.
