This petition is to help clean the sound. Human activity is one of the biggest problems that kill birds and mammals in Long Island Sound. As a Yale study showed, humans caused a mass die off of lobsters, fish, and birds. Sign the petition, if you agree to the following: I promise not to litter and to tell my family and friends not to litter. When I see litter I promise to pick it up and put it in a trash can. Keeping our water litter-free is an important way to protect our environment. I believe that it’s everyone’s responsibility to help keep our environment clean and I promise to do my part.

Clean up event: October 16th at 4:30pm-5:30pm / Ash Creek Estuary at the Fairfield Marina

Directions: Driving - South Benson Road heading south toward Jennings Beach.
