I am reading the Winnipeg Sun and a piece by Tarek Fatah "The media's apologetic coverage of Islamic terror".

Here is a quote from this column:
"Asked by Erin Burnett on CNN what was being preached at this mosque that would motivate two young men in the congegation to become ISIS jihadi terrorists, its spokeperson was succinct. "It's like any other mosque, it's simple."
NEXT For Truth

This is what was really said,
ERIN BURNETT: "What is this mosque like? What sort of preaching do you hear?"
"It's like any other mosque. We are simple and friendly. Our Imam is very good at explaining things. We never hear any stupid things coming out by anybody. I mean very low key basically."

So, I wonder why the Winnipeg Sun is accepting blatant lies in their newspaper. Do they not check what they're publishing?
This is not just an error by Fatah. This is a blatant changing of what was actually said. He ought not to be allowed to write columns when he acts this disgracefully!

I think that spreading lies like this is very rotten and I am ashamed this poor excuse for a newspaper has the gall to print such trash. I wonder, too, how much the author of these lies gets paid for lying like this.

This is the video of the Burnett interview.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M2u8DCBaWQc
The Winnipeg Sun, Wednesday, June 15, 2016

I've written to the Winnipeg Sun twice - No Reply
I've written to the Wpg Free Press - No Reply
I've written to CTV, CBC, CKND, and more - No Reply
I've written to APTN - They acknowledged my input.

RC Johnsen
