Euthanasia and Physician Assisted Suicide (PAS) is basically relieving the pain of the sufferer by ending the sufferer's life, usually the terminally ill. Euthanasia occurs when the doctor does something that directly ends the patient's life (such as a lethal injection), while PAS is when the doctor prescribes a medication for the patient to take which will take their life away. For the terminally ill, the negative attributes of their illness(es) shadow how they want to live which makes death more closer, potent, and pressured onto them. Spanning all across the world, no matter what age, the lives of these individuals are valuable which is why we should give them as much support and inspiration they need to progress from their current state.

Currently, it is illegal for this procedure to commence in 45 states in the US, including North Carolina. With the support from pro life euthanasia organizations, the NC legislature will clearly make a stand about assisted suicide. By prohibiting this procedure, terminally ill patients will be less likely to be pressured into ending their life as medical professionals and scientists find alternative ways to limit the pain and scope for ways on how technology can benefit these patients.

As a strong supporter for pro life along with other advocates, this simple action can cause a big change for the terminally ill and medical facilities.
