<p>We, the citizens of the City and County of Honolulu, petition the City's Department of Planning and Permitting to NOT APPROVE the cluster housing permit application for the proposed development project (currently named "Hokulei") in Kuliou'ou Valley, located at Tax Map Key: 3-8-13:001.</p><p>This proposed project presents numerous safety issues regarding susceptibility of flooding, poor drainage, unstable subsurface, and susceptibility to slides. It also does not fit into the current model of the East Honolulu Sustainability Communities Plan. We want the City and County of Honolulu to represent it's citizens and protect the safety of our community by NOT APPROVING the cluster housing permit application.</p>
