<p>Mill Lane is slated for closure to through traffic by Highways. This decision was taken without public consultation and in the face of protest by local residents.</p><p>Mill Lane isn’t even an “accident black spot”. So it’s hard to see what logic is behind a decision that will mean daily inconvenience for commuters and residents alike.</p><p>We think it’s already tough to get to work on time, so thinking about rush hour traffic without this valuable cut-through just doesn’t bear thinking about. And residents won’t have it much better, as they’ll be reduced to one route out only.</p><p>If you would like to add your voice to ours, please sign this petition.
