<p>Steven Universe, popular Cartoon Network show, has involved a diverse and strong following, or fandom. With progressive/humanistic ideals and compelling storylines to positively expand age group availability, it is no wonder how Steven Universe has grown in popularity.</p><p>We, the fandom, understand the effort and time it takes to create each 12 minute episode. The goal of this petition is not to gain quantity over quality. We, the fandom, understand the need of hiatus to pace and recuperate for future airings. </p><p>However, I, (name here), believe that the Steven Bomb/hiatus duo is not an appropriate broadcast technique consecutively. Story arcs have been undoubtedly used effectively during the Steven Bomb events, but story arcs of a particular theme can be spread within a one month span for regular airings per week. Interchanging periods of Steven Bombs and regular airings, with due hiatus breaks of course, will decrease fandom frustration and increase Steven Universe popularity by appealing to new audience members unfamiliar with the show since air time is so restricted for Steven Universe to begin with.</p><p>In conclusion, this petition is to raise awareness of the importance and frustration of Steven Universe and its limited airtime. I believe hiatus and Steven Bombs should be used when necessary, not regularly.
