<p>Greetings Citizens of Saint Lucie County, Florida,</p><p>My name is Robin Douglas Bynoe and I am a product of district #1. I am a graduate of Westwood High School and I grew up in Sheraton Plaza. I joined the US Army after graduation and served our nation for over 20 years, including three combat tours. I recently retired after a successful military career. Over the years I have never lost my love for the city I grew up in. However, I have become discouraged by recent news of crime, murders and Fort Pierce being named the “The Worst City in Florida”. Not my city and not my community! After retiring from the military I considered many opportunities, but my heart is with my city. Throughout my travels I have found that two things are paramount to any city’s success; the education of its citizens, and their protection. My focus would be bringing jobs to the County and ensuring educators and police are given the tools to maximize their efforts. This will foster the environment to bring companies and industries to the district and employ those citizens who seek employment. I seek your support in accomplishing this huge undertaking.
