<p>As of January 1st of this year, Tennessee enacted an Animal Abuse Offender Registry, so far they're the only state that has enacted it. Every state should have an Animal Abuse Offender Registry so humane societies, rescues and other individuals looking to adopt out an animal can do research and make sure that each and every animal being rejoined is NOT going to someone that has been convicted of abusing or neglecting an Animal. The penalties for animal abuse and neglect is not strict enough, so we need some kind of reinforcement when it comes to making sure our animals are safe from harm and.can lice a happy and healthy life full of love as they so deserve!
