<p>With respect to Central Government expectations and our District Council's implementation of "The Local plan" for planning, development and the provision of extra housing in our communities, we the undesigned request and require our local authority; South Bucks District Council, to find ways to control the abject destruction being wrought on our communities by developers with no regard for the "flagship properties" which have over time, become important features in our villages and communities. These lovely buildings are being acquired simply to be demolished in order to build numerous characterless replacements, overcrowding infrastructures and spoiling the attraction of those very villages and communities targeted without regard and purely for profit. Some greater degree of planning scrutiny, together with an expectation that these properties will be renovated for better use must be implemented to avoid loosing the character and charm of the villages and communities we all love and which we elected you to represent. We believe it is the duty of our District Council and Planners to address that urgent need before it is too late.</p>
