Anglo-American Slavery Reparations

<p>Slavery. It is a word that brings to mind death, ruin and destruction. It is the ultimate lack of freedom, the lowest totem on the pole of life, where life is consequential and cheap. I ask you, what race were slaves? African? Middle Eastern? No. The oldest slave trade was of Christians, who specifically where white in color by exclusively people of the Islamic faith. This slave trade went on for over a thousand years where millions upon millions of Christians were forced into slavery, especially sex slavery.&nbsp;</p><p><br />White men were captured and forced to build the mosques that their Muslim masters prayed in and died doing so while their women were raped, even young girls, and sold along side of cattle in markets as life long sex slaves and/or domestic slaves. The slavery that the men expirienced was harder physically even than working on a plantation and the abuse that the women suffered is beyond imaginable.&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>I ask you, why are we not taught about white slavery? We need reparation.</p><p>It is only right that Anglo-Americans receive justice for the hundreds of years that our ancestors spent enslaved by Muslim captives. Here we are, in a country that we built to escape such ridicule, wounds still fresh on our souls and our ancestors souls, from the slavery that Muslims put us through and we are told that we must be enslaved to them once again in another way. We are to accept every one of their customs into our culture without say, we are to dance around their beliefs and customs and set aside our own in exchange. This will be no more. We were enslaved long enough, we need to not allow another form of slavery to take control of White Christian homes.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>I suggest that we petition for a very reasonable request: To have the United States Government build a museum honoring White Christians through history with emphasis on the horrors of the Barbary slave trade, emphasizing that it was Muslims who enslaved Christians. The museum would be built by Christians, for Christians. We would receive the money by requesting the United States receive four million dollars in total from all of the countries that practice Sharia Law. This will be a start towards acknowledging and healing our pain.</p>
