A growing concern for may journalists and bloggers is Plagiarism. What I mean is when people take your whole article, sometimes pictures too, and re-print them as their entire blog or article on their own site or on a public platform. Recently this happened to a friend of mine on LinkedIn. She notified LinkedIn and unfortunately they didn't do anything about it. a group of friends of her, me included, all wrote on the comments that this was not the proper thing to do. The plagiariser took the post down under pressure from the comments, but is still do this. I looked throught the rest of his articles on his site and LinkedIn and saw that every single one of them was not his.

We all know you can share and article and give an intro on how or what it means to you, so your following can see it also.

This is not right. I understand there could be ways legally to go after copyrighted information, eg: articles, pictures and information, but the average person does not have the time and effort to do this.

So I started this petition so we can let the public forums know that they need to be on top of this. Forums like, Medium, LinkedIn, Facebook Notes, and others. If an author can provide the link to show it is their work, the article should be removed.

We are trying yo get as many people to sign this as possibile to send to the Platforms.

Please join us so we can make a dent in this area and help each others content stay safe.
